Heather joined Redburn with limited real estate development experience, but with a lifelong passion for architecture and history. Before joining Redburn, she was an active duty Air Force officer for five years, during which time she served as a Project Engineer and ultimately as the Executive Officer to the Director of Air Force Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (AF TENCAP). While serving in those positions, she gained extensive project management experience working on projects for several government agencies, specializing in rapid acquisition of weapon systems, and earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Prior to working for AF TENCAP, Heather was assigned to projects for the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DAPRA), the Department of Energy (DOE), and the National Air and Space Administration (NASA). During her Air Force career, Heather earned a bachelor of science degree in astronautical engineering with a focus in control system optimization from the Air Force Academy and a master of science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
